A controversy took over social media during the UFC Freedom 250 event, held on the White House lawn, after the circulation of alleged messages attributed to Eric Trump questioning whether some of the fights on the card were “fixed” or manipulated.

The images, which were later deleted, were posted by former fighter Daniel Cormier. In the alleged conversations, Eric Trump reportedly asked whether any fight was “fixed”, to which Cormier replied: “No, none of our fights were rigged and, honestly, I am horrified that you would ask me something like that”.

Shortly afterward, both Cormier and Eric Trump denied that the conversation had taken place. The commentator said his account had been compromised and described the images as fake, while Trump stated that the screenshots had been generated by artificial intelligence.

The episode occurred on the eve of UFC Freedom 250, a historic event held on the White House lawn last Sunday (14) to celebrate Donald Trump’s 80th birthday and the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States.
